We recommend using home products to support the peeling treatment for the desired result. The skin must be cared for to recover properly. When you do not care for your skin sufficiently, the opposite effect can occur. Your skin becomes drier, gets irritated, and other discomforts may arise.

Medical peels aim to accelerate the renewal of the skin. It is wise for every skin and skin type to undergo an effective medical peel at least once. We use peels for: acne, acne scars, large pores, a dull or sagging skin, fine lines, and pigmentation spots or for a beautiful glow!

After the treatment, we provide sun protection with possibly a concealing color, allowing you to continue with your daily activities. Your skin may feel warm, feel tighter, and appear red. The redness will disappear within a few hours. The degree of reaction depends on the type of peeling and intensity, this is of course always in consultation with you. For optimal results, we advise you to follow the peels in a course.

During the treatment period, you must avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds and protect your skin with at least an SPF50. Also, avoid swimming pools and saunas for at least the first 3 days after the treatment. Do not scratch or rub your skin, as this can disrupt the healing process.

A skin therapist has completed a higher professional education, is a paramedic, falls under the BIG Act (professions in healthcare), carries a protected title, and is registered in the quality register of paramedics. In case of medical indications, reimbursement from the supplementary health insurance is possible. A skin therapist focuses on skin improvement and skin issues. A beautician generally has a secondary vocational education diploma and focuses on the care and beautification of healthy skin and does not have a protected title.

No, a referral is not necessary. Skin therapy is freely accessible. Anyone who wants to work on a beautiful skin is welcome. We advocate for preventing skin problems and skin aging. Prevention is of course better than cure.
