We verwijderen met een speciale techniek de onzuiverheden, zodat je ontstekingen in de huid voorkomt en je huid er glad en schoon uitziet. We starten met een uitgebreid persoonlijk intakegesprek. Hierin bespreken we je hulpvraag en je huidwensen. Het is belangrijk voor de huidtherapeut om tijdens de intake de juiste huidtherapeutische diagnose te stellen. We gaan daarom dieper in op je medische gezondheid, je leefstijl en wat je tot dan toe hebt geprobeerd aan producten, behandelingen en medicatie. Ook inspecteren we je huid en we maken met de Observ520 een huidscan van 6 verschillende foto’s zodat we een kijkje in je huid kunnen nemen. Je krijgt van ons persoonlijk advies over jouw huid, productadvies en een plan voor de mogelijke huidtherapeutische behandelingen met de bijbehorende tarieven.

The treatment plan is always two-fold. In addition to the medical peels from Dermaceutic that we perform in the practice, it is also essential that you start using the recommended exfoliating products from Dermaceutic at home (at least 2 to 4 weeks before the first treatment). By using the exfoliating products at home, dead skin cells are removed and the skin thins. This makes the skin more permeable and allows the peel to penetrate better into the deeper skin layers, resulting in the most optimal outcome being achieved faster and the treatment being more effective. The skin will also recover more quickly after a treatment, and the results after the treatment will be maintained longer, which means maintenance treatments are needed less often. We believe that you can gain control over your acne by 60% once you know your personal triggers in combination with the right home products. The therapeutic skin treatments account for the remaining 40%, giving you a significant push towards beautiful skin.
Medical/Chemical peels
Chemical peels are liquids that consist of natural acids. At Skin Project, we work with medical peels based on Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Lactic acid, Mandelic acid, or Trichloroacetic acid (TCA). These ingredients provide a deep cleansing of the pores and target the acne bacteria (p.acnes) while inhibiting sebum production. The active ingredients in a peel also stimulate and accelerate skin cell renewal, preventing new blockages, impurities, and inflammations. The depth to which the peel penetrates depends on the type of ingredients we use. We determine this together by aligning it with your individual wishes. There is a suitable peel for every skin type.
Hydrafacial
Hydrafacial offers a three-step treatment in which the skin is powerfully cleansed and exfoliated while being saturated with antioxidants and hydration. When the skin is thoroughly cleansed deep into the pores and then saturated with antioxidants, the skin will produce less sebum for protection due to reduced oxidative stress. Additionally, the antioxidants will reduce inflammation in the skin, resulting in less redness. LED light therapy is used to inhibit sebum production and kill the bacteria that cause acne.

We starten altijd met een vrijblijvende kosteloze intake. We bespreken je huidwens en maken een uitgebreide huidscan met de Observ520. Met deze scan nemen we een kijkje in de diepere huidlagen. We maken 6 foto’s waarmee je ziet in welke staat je huid verkeerd. We zien waar je gevoelig voor bent en wat jouw huid nodig heeft om er egaler uit te zien. Zo bepalen wij welke behandelingen we kunnen inzetten om jouw huidwens te vervullen. Je krijgt na de analyse een behandelplan, waarin we je product- en huidtherapeutisch behandeladvies geven. Uiteraard beantwoorden we je vragen en bespreken we het kostenplaatje.
Jouw investering
Bij de indicatie onzuiverheden in het gezicht is een vergoeding vanuit de aanvullende zorgverzekering mogelijk, zonder verwijsbrief van de huisarts. Je bent zelf verantwoordelijk voor het indienen van de factuur bij de verzekeraar. Skin Project heeft contracten afgesloten met alle zorgverzekeraars. De vrijblijvende intake is altijd kosteloos. Er zijn verschillende behandelingen en combinatietechnieken mogelijk. Gemiddeld liggen de tarieven tussen de €149,- en €239,-. Vaak zien we al na één behandeling een mooi resultaat. Wij raden aan om 2 tot 3 keer per jaar een onderhoudsbehandeling te ondergaan voor een blijvend mooie huid. We starten altijd met een thuisadvies aan producten om een goede basis te leggen.

Can you solve all skin problems?
Unfortunately, we cannot perform magic. Within skin therapy, we are experts in light and laser treatments, medical peels, and combination treatments, but we cannot fully solve all skin problems with these. The skin is our largest organ, and many different influences contribute to skin issues. What we do when we cannot solve your skin problem is provide you with tools: referring you to the right specialist, general practitioner, dermatologist, or orthomolecular nutritionist. A broader perspective and approach is desirable for complex skin problems.
