Treatment

Chemical peels are liquids that consist of natural acids. At Skin Project, working with medical peels based on Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid or Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA). Each acid has unique properties in the skin. There are peels that lighten pigment spots, extinguish inflammation, inhibit sebum production and even stimulate the production of connective tissue fibres. Home products

The treatment plan is always twofold. In addition to the treatments that we perform in practice, it is also essential that you get started with the recommended exfoliating products from Dermaceutic for at home (at least 2 to 4 weeks before the first treatment). By using the exfoliating products at home, the dead skin cells are removed and the skin thins. As a result, the skin becomes more permeable and the chemical peeling better reaches the deeper layers of the skin, so that the most optimal result is achieved faster and the treatment is more effective. The skin will also recover faster after a treatment and the results of the treatment will be maintained longer, so that maintenance treatments are required less often.

Cosmo Peel Forte

The Cosmo Peel Forte is the strongest peel and can be used for aging skin with fine and deep lines, (acne) scars, structure problems, smoker's skin and pigmentation. The Cosmo Peel Forte consists of 20% TCA, 10% Phenol and 10% Glycolic acid. The peeling works deeply and ensures that the collagen and elastin production in your skin is strengthened. The number of treatments depends on your skin condition and indication. Depending on your skin condition, it may also be advised to first start with a TCA peeling of 12 or 15% to improve your skin condition. The better your skin condition is, the more results you have with the Cosmo Peel Forte. On average, 1-2 treatments with the Cosmo Peel Forte are required with an interval of 3-6 months. The effect of the peeling continues for 6-18 months after the treatment. Maintenance treatments are required to maintain the effect of the peeling.

After the treatment it is important to avoid direct sunlight and exfoliating products.
