Treatment

The InMode system is a revolutionary technique that uses two different laser combinations. The Diolaze XL laser combines the Diode-Laser (wavelength 810 nm) with the Nd:Yag-Laser (wavelength 1064 nm) and is therefore one of the most advanced lasers in the field of excessive hair. It can effectively and safely remove unwanted hair on the face and body, in men and women, on all skin types, making this combined technique a breakthrough in the treatment of unwanted hair.

The Diolaze XL Laser also works with an integral skin cooling surface, which is the largest of its kind. This ensures that the treatment is much more comfortable than with other laser devices. Laser hair removal is therefore well tolerated by everyone.

The gold standard for permanent hair removal of unwanted hair growth is the Diode-Laser. During laser hair removal with the Diolaze XL Laser, the light from the laser is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles, which permanently destroys the stem cells that are responsible for the growth of the hair. As a result, hairs no longer grow back and the skin feels soft and smooth! Within about two weeks, the destroyed hairs will disappear permanently and the remaining hairs will become thinner.

The Diolaze XL Laser is CE and FDA certified, which ensures the safety of the equipment.

Important to know

During the entire treatment process, it is important that the hair is not waxed or plucked. With the Diolaze XL laser you can continue to treat in the summer. It is also important that the skin is well protected against the sun. If desired, we can advise you on the right post-treatment cream, sunscreen and foundation. The products have been specially developed for application after a cosmetic treatment and ensure that the recovery of damaged skin is accelerated.

What effect can you expect?

It is important to know that hair grows in different phases. Since hairs can only be destroyed in the active growth phase, multiple treatments are always necessary. Only dark hairs can also be treated. The optimal result is obtained from a series of consecutive treatments, at intervals of 6 weeks. Depending on the desired result, we recommend an average of 6-10 treatments for an 85% reduction of the dark hair. The laser treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Transgender

The skin therapists of Skin Project work according to a specially drawn up treatment protocol and are aware of all recommendations of the Knowledge and Care Center for Gender Dysphoria and the light/laser expert group of the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists. Transgender clients have a permanent skin therapist during the treatment process. It is important that you feel a bond of trust with her.
